East Coast Supercharging Goes 1-2 In The Mantic Clutch 8.90 Index GM EFI Race Series at Raceway Park…
Congratulations go to “The Captain” Jay McCardle for winning the 6/9/12 Team ECS Racing 8.90 Index, presented by Mantic Clutch. Jay pulled out a victory over runner-up (and ECS co-owner) Doug Ring. Jay also took the Mantic Clutch #1 Qualifier Award on the 8.90 dial. Both cars are running strong thanks to their ECS/Paxton NOVI Supercharged powerplants and stout setups and tuning by ECS themselves.
After the race Doug Ring said “That was one of the closest races I have been a part of in while, neither one of us knew who won at first but Jay pulled it out! My .008 R/T was surpassed by some mid track tire spin and it was an even drag race to the finish. (almost…)”
