Model And Enthusiast Krista Elyse Knows Exactly What She Wants…NOVI BOOST!

We’ve all seen it…maybe you’ll be at a car show or event, or maybe when reading an interview in a magazine. You realize the model in front of you, no matter how good she may look, doesn’t know the first thing about the cars she stands next to. Krista Elyse breaks that mold in a huge way. With a long modeling resume, an impressive list of previous cars under her belt that include a modified heads/cam WS6 Trans-Am, and a Paxton Supercharged 4.6L 2V Mustang GT, plus the fact that she does a good amount of the wrenching on her cars herself, Krista Elyse is the real deal. As Ja Rule said in the original Fast & The Furious movie…”It’s not how you stand next to your car…it’s how you race your car.” Well, Krista can do both better than a lot of the boys out there…and look better doing it.

Krista’s current project car is a 2010 Grabber Blue Mustang GT, and one of her very first calls after bringing home the car was to Paxton. After looking at the different options, Krista decided to go with the Paxton NOVI 2200 System with air-to-air intercooler. Seizing the a great opportunity for cross-promotion, Krista decided to meet up with her good friends at Blow-By Racing at zMAX Dragway in Charlotte, NC for the NMRA/NMCA All Star Nationals. The idea was to install the Paxton High Output NOVI 2200 Supercharging System right there trackside in front of one and all, tune the car, and have her freshly supercharged ride right back on the road…with a lot of additional power under the hood. This demonstrates not only the quality of the Paxton product, but also a great chance for the boys at Blow-By Racing to show what they can do.

Blow-By Racing is a well respected performance & tuning shop out of Boca Raton, FL that has been on the cutting edge of Mustang performance since 2005. They offer a wide range of performance parts & services, and also feature dyno tuning in house on their Dynojet chassis dyno. BBR were the first company to have developed and released a 3 valve CNC cylinder head as well as the first for with a 3 valve camshaft back in March of 2005. They pride themselves on excellent customer service, and have built a strong following over the years across the entire Mustang community. They are also well known because of their famous “Blow-By Girls“, and their yearly calendar.

The install team at zMAX began Friday morning, and Krista, along with BBR superstars Chris Jones and John Zeilinga set to the task of feeding her 2010 GT some much needed boost. Tons of people and other vendors stopped by the booth to check out the installation in progress, and Krista had to stop more than once to take pictures with her fans. Pete Epple from Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords was there to document the install as well, so look out for that in a future issue of that excellent publication.

Krista had this to say after the install was complete. “I am SUPER IMPRESSED! I love the NOVI kits and want to push my new 2200 to its limits, there is so much potential in them. Not only does it work great, but the install went smooth and I actually picked up over 5mpg on the highway. After 2 Paxton NOVI kits, i will never get anything else. I love em!”
